Guk

Guk is a Korean-style soup that is an essential part of a traditional meal. Unlike Western soups, which are often served as an appetizer, Guk is served alongside rice (Bap) as a main component of the meal. It is typically made with various ingredients like vegetables, meat, seafood, or seaweed in a clear or flavorful broth. It has a higher liquid-to-solid ratio compared to Jjigae (stew), making it lighter and more refreshing.
